What the site is
MediFindMe is a free directory that helps people in Australia find doctors, specialists, dentists and allied health providers. We surface publicly available listing information (sourced via the Google Places API) so you can find and contact a provider.
What the site is not
MediFindMe does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and does not recommend or endorse any practitioner or practice. Nothing on the site is a substitute for professional medical judgment. In an emergency call 000.
Listing accuracy
Provider details (names, addresses, phone numbers, ratings) come from Google's public places data. We do not independently verify them. Details may be out of date, incomplete or incorrect — always confirm directly with the provider before relying on any listing, including for bulk billing status, opening hours or accepted specialties.
Acceptable use
Use the site only for its intended purpose of finding healthcare providers. Do not scrape, republish or resell listing data at scale, attempt to disrupt the service, or use the site in a way that breaches any applicable law.
Third-party services
The site relies on Google Places API, Google Maps, Google AdSense and Vercel hosting. Your use of features backed by those services is also subject to each provider's own terms.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing is current or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on any listing, including any interaction with a provider found through the site. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The revised version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the update.
